TURBOFINE 250, formulated with Terbinafine 250 mg, is an advanced antifungal medicine widely used for treating a spectrum of fungal infections affecting the skin, nails, and scalp. Terbinafine belongs to the allylamine class of antifungal agents and is known for its strong fungicidal action, meaning it kills fungal cells directly rather than merely stopping their growth.
In recent years, fungal infections have become increasingly common in India due to humid weather, sweating, pollution, poor hygiene, tight clothing, lifestyle factors, and widespread steroid-based cream misuse. Conditions like ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), and fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) are frequently reported in dermatology OPDs. TURBOFINE 250 offers an effective, reliable, and scientifically proven treatment option for such infections.
Once taken orally, Terbinafine rapidly reaches the skin, nails, and hair follicles, maintaining potent antifungal concentrations for an extended period. This makes TURBOFINE 250 one of the most preferred systemic antifungal medicines for moderate to severe fungal infections or those that do not respond to topical creams alone.
Its unique mechanism targets the fungal cell membrane by inhibiting an enzyme called squalene epoxidase, leading to the accumulation of toxic fungal metabolites and eventually killing the fungus. Due to its strong activity and long-lasting results, TURBOFINE 250 has become a trusted choice among dermatologists.

Even after the treatment stops, therapeutic levels remain in the skin and nails for weeks, preventing recurrence.

Reduces itching, redness, scaling, and burning sensations within the first few days of therapy.
5. Ideal for Widespread and Multiple-site Infections
Helpful in patients with large skin involvement, multiple patches, or recurrent fungal infections.
