On this page
Safe medicine use begins with clear product information and careful handling. This page explains what to check and how to raise a concern about an item supplied through STERIS.
Check the supplied product
Compare the product name, strength, pack size and quantity with your order and invoice. Check the manufacturer details, batch number, expiry date, seal and storage instructions on the pack. Product photos on the website may differ from the supplied batch's packaging.
Prescription and storage requirements
Prescription medicines remain subject to pharmacy review and the applicable prescription requirements. Follow the prescriber's instructions and the product's labelled storage conditions. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about using a medicine.
Report an issue
If an item appears damaged, incorrect, expired or unsafe, avoid using the affected item and contact support. Keep the pack, label, invoice and any relevant photographs. Use the Return Policy process for a supply issue; legal remedies are not limited by an online request window.
Product-specific information
For a question about a manufacturer's licence, certificate or product documentation, contact support with the exact product and batch details where available. A general website statement should not be treated as a substitute for product-specific documentation.
