Medicine information
Uses & overview
R/C BUDEPRESS 400 contains a combination of Budesonide and Formoterol. Budesonide is a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and swelling in the airways, while Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that helps relax the airway muscles and improve airflow. This combination may be prescribed for the maintenance treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), depending on the patient's condition and doctor's recommendation. Regular use as prescribed can help control symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing. R/C BUDEPRESS 400 should be used only according to the dosage and instructions provided by a healthcare professional. It is generally intended for regular maintenance treatment and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a prescribed quick-relief inhaler during a sudden breathing attack.
How to use
Use R/C BUDEPRESS 400 exactly as directed by your doctor. If it is an inhalation product, use the inhaler/device with the correct technique as instructed by your healthcare professional. Take/use it regularly at the prescribed dose and do not stop treatment suddenly without medical advice. If a dose is missed, use the next dose at the usual time unless your doctor has advised otherwise; do not take an extra dose to compensate. Rinse your mouth with water after inhaling, particularly because the product contains Budesonide, to help reduce the risk of oral fungal infection and throat irritation.
Storage
Store R/C BUDEPRESS 400 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach and sight of children. Store and handle the inhalation device according to the instructions provided with the product. Do not use the product after its expiry date or if the packaging/device is damaged.
