NITROTIME 100 Capsules are a pharmaceutical formulation from Steris Healthcare, containing Nitrofurantoin 100 mg as the active ingredient. Nitrofurantoin is an antibacterial medicine that works by interfering with bacterial processes necessary for their growth and survival. It achieves high concentrations in the urine, making it particularly useful for treating certain lower urinary tract infections, including uncomplicated cystitis, when caused by susceptible bacteria. NITROTIME 100 should be used only for infections for which Nitrofurantoin is an appropriate treatment. It is not generally used for infections involving the kidneys or other systemic infections, where a different antibiotic may be required. How to use
Take NITROTIME 100 Capsules exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with sufficient water. Taking Nitrofurantoin with food or milk may improve absorption and reduce stomach upset. Complete the full prescribed course even if your symptoms improve before treatment is finished. Do not skip doses or stop the medicine early unless instructed by your healthcare professional.
