Medicine information
Uses & overview
Rosuvastatin 10 mg + Clopidogrel 75 mg + Aspirin 75 mg is a combination of three medicines used under medical supervision to manage cardiovascular risk in appropriately selected patients. It may be prescribed for individuals with coronary artery disease or certain patients following a heart attack, stroke-related vascular event, or coronary intervention, depending on their clinical condition and treatment plan. Rosuvastatin belongs to the statin group of medicines and works by reducing cholesterol production in the liver, helping lower LDL cholesterol and supporting long-term cardiovascular risk reduction. Clopidogrel and aspirin are antiplatelet medicines that reduce platelet aggregation, helping lower the risk of certain blood-clot-related cardiovascular events when appropriately prescribed. The combination may help simplify treatment for patients who require all three medicines. However, it is not suitable for everyone, particularly people with active bleeding, certain stomach ulcers, significant liver problems or other contraindications. The combination and duration of treatment must be determined by a healthcare professional.
How to use
Follow your prescription: Take this combination medicine only when prescribed by a qualified healthcare professional. Your doctor will determine whether all three ingredients are appropriate for your condition. Take the prescribed dose: Follow the exact dose and schedule recommended by your doctor. Do not increase, decrease or repeat a dose without medical advice. Swallow as directed: Take the tablet according to the product instructions. If it is a capsule or has a special formulation, follow the specific administration guidance provided by your pharmacist. Food and timing: Follow your prescribed schedule and the product label regarding food. Take the medicine consistently at the recommended time. Missed dose: Follow the patient leaflet or ask your pharmacist what to do. Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed dose. Watch for bleeding: Contact your doctor if you notice unusual bruising, persistent nosebleeds, blood in your urine or black, tarry stools. Seek urgent medical attention for severe bleeding. Check other medicines: Tell your doctor about anticoagulants, painkillers, other antiplatelet medicines, supplements and any cholesterol-lowering treatment you take. Attend follow-up appointments: Your doctor may monitor cholesterol levels, liver function, kidney function and signs of bleeding, depending on your health. Do not stop independently: Stopping clopidogrel or aspirin without medical advice may increase the risk of blood clots, particularly after coronary stent placement.
