Medicine information
Uses & overview
STERIPHYLLIN ERDO is a combination medicine containing Acebrophylline and Erdosteine. Acebrophylline is a bronchodilator with mucoregulatory properties that helps relax the airway muscles and improve airflow. Erdosteine is a mucolytic agent that helps reduce the thickness and stickiness of mucus, making it easier to clear from the respiratory tract. This combination may be prescribed for the management of respiratory conditions associated with airway obstruction, excessive mucus, cough, wheezing, and breathing difficulties, including chronic respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), according to the doctor's recommendation. Regular use as prescribed may help improve airway function and facilitate mucus clearance. STERIPHYLLIN ERDO should be taken only as directed by a healthcare professional. It is not intended to replace emergency treatment for sudden or severe breathing difficulties.
