STERIS DURA 5 by Steris Healthcare contains Tadalafil 5 mg, a medicine belonging to the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor class. It works by increasing blood flow to certain areas of the body by relaxing blood vessels and smooth muscle in response to sexual stimulation. Tadalafil 5 mg may be prescribed for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), a condition that makes it difficult to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual activity. Depending on the approved indication and individual assessment, tadalafil may also be used to relieve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or an enlarged prostate. Tadalafil 5 mg is commonly prescribed as a once-daily regimen for suitable patients, depending on the approved indication and the individual's medical condition. It does not increase sexual desire and does not produce an erection without sexual stimulation. Treatment should be individualized by a healthcare professional.
How to use
Take STERIS DURA 5 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If prescribed as a daily treatment, take it at approximately the same time each day, following the instructions on the product label. Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take more than the prescribed dose or combine it with other erectile dysfunction medicines unless your doctor specifically advises you to do so. Inform your doctor about all medicines and supplements you take, particularly nitrates used for chest pain and medicines that lower blood pressure.
Storage
Store STERIS DURA 5 according to the storage instructions printed on the product packaging. Keep the tablets in their original packaging, protected from excessive heat and moisture. Store out of reach of children and do not use the medicine after its expiry date.
