TASMULINE 0.4 by Steris Healthcare contains tamsulosin 0.4 mg, a medicine belonging to the alpha-1 adrenergic blocker class. It is used to manage lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. Tamsulosin works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, helping urine pass more easily and relieving urinary symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate. TASMULINE 0.4 may help improve urinary comfort and daily quality of life in eligible patients. It does not shrink the prostate and should be used according to a doctor's prescription.
How to use
Take TASMULINE 0.4 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow the instructions on the medicine label regarding the timing of administration and whether to take it with food. Swallow the dosage form as directed and do not crush or chew modified-release formulations. Do not change the dose or discontinue treatment without consulting your healthcare professional. Inform your doctor about other medicines you take and any history of low blood pressure, dizziness, or fainting.
Storage
Store TASMULINE 0.4 according to the storage instructions printed on the product packaging. Keep it in its original packaging, away from excessive heat and moisture, and out of reach of children. Do not use the medicine after its expiry date.
